In 2012 Jack Matthews gave an audio interview about his writing guide, A Worker’s Writebook. This video gives excerpts from this interview and at the end, Matthews, reads from his chapter “Pointedness of the Tale.”
Matthews died in the year after I interviewed him, but I prodded him to talk about a lot of his ebooks (and I’ll produce some more in the next month). This video is an audio-only slideshow, but I actually recorded some video in addition to some audio.
The jury is out whether “video trailers” really sell ebooks, but I am a total sucker about hearing an author talk about his book project. Enjoy!
